Each classroom is internet accessible with computers in each classroom. A staff of 15 teachers meet the educational needs of students. The special needs population is fully integrated and a full time Methods and Resource teacher assist regular classroom teachers adapt curriculum to the needs of each student. In addition to the teaching staff, there are two full time custodians and a full time secretary. The school also engages the support of a large contingent of parent, business and community volunteers for associated programs.
The staff is firmly committed to providing a quality education for all students. This means maintaining a positive learning environment, with a variety of educational opportunities, which will encourage all students to reach their optimum potential.

COMMUNITY USE & PARTNERSHIPS
The school is well used by the west side community. Youth groups and sport programs use it most evenings during the week and on weekends. Over the last few years there has been an effort to harbor some solid partnerships between the community and the school. Examples of this are:
-Student volunteer with neighbouring schools and nursing home
-Breakfast For Learning subsidy for school breakfast program
-Partnership with Greco Pizza, M&J Convenience for school Hot Lunch program
